It just seems like yesterday that I was writing a year review for 2016 and now it’s time to write one for 2017.
So let me take you through the most confusing year I have ever experienced. January began with a trip to Mumbai and once I was back in Delhi, I was working with Human Circle as a part of the Happiness Team for the 8th Young India Challenge in Delhi in the month of March. From roaming around at World Book Fair wearing YIC t-shirts to the YIC Reunion at Lodhi Garden, things were fun. I also got to attend a TEDx event for the first time which was really crappy but the food was good, because it was at India Habitat Centre. Also, 10+2 Eggheads died a slow death because of creative differences.
February passed and nobody knew. Then came March and came the 8th Young India Challenge on 4th and 5th of the month. Cut Coffee Paste came into being and we did our first act at YIC with an audience of 500 people at IIT Delhi. Another thing that happened was that I joined Authenticook as their Community Manager for Delhi NCR and it has been a great experience working with them. April got me joining the Human Circle Core Team as their Brand Chef (We were asked to create our own designations). May and June were full of exams, so let’s not bother talking about that.
June-end and July we played the Human Circle Premier League which was actually a fun game of cricket followed by some good food. August came and made me a year older and September was full of restaurant reviews and Comedy gigs. Throught July, August, September and October I was also a part of the Interview Panel for 9th YIC in Mumbai and I got the chance to interact with some really interesting people from food bloggers and travel bloggers to storytellers and poets. Right after Diwali we made a family trip to Mussoorie because “Hills were calling”. November and December have been excellent with weddings in the family and some amazing photo-ops at Comic Con in Delhi.
I would like to thank people who have appreciated my food blog and my stand-up comedy (especially the rich girlfriend and the murthal jokes). Thanks to Authenticook and Human Circle for giving me the amazing opportunities. There’s something big coming up in 2018 and I hope you all will love it!
P.S: I still haven’t received my post-card.
