I got a chance to visit this hidden gem called Nagaland’s Kitchen to try out the smoked delicacies which are made using the traditional recipes. We started off with the Prawn Amrosu Soup, which is a traditional Naga Rice Soup with Prawns. The Amrosu Soup is also available in Veg/Chicken/Pork variants. Next we tried out the Pork Ribs which were the Chef’s Special and served with a Raja Mircha Dip. The ribs were cooked to perfection with a juicy layer of fat and a thick layer of meat. The combination with the Raja Mircha dip was of course fantastic. In the appetizers we also had the Chicken with Dry Bamboo Shoot which was a flavourful combination of chicken cooked with bamboo shoot in some exotic Naga spices and of course some Raja Mircha.
